Hi! I’m British, I like music (grime, garage, hip-hop, R&B, and more!). I like art, culture, history, politics, & doomscrolling memes.
Also a touch of programming :)

It does require some tinkering but you can do that with Librewolf
Just like normal ram, if you have more to use then it’ll get used. It doesn’t mean it requires more than 8gb in order to run well.
I played all of Cyberpunk on high settings with 8gb.
Even 8GB is fine to be honest, even at high settings. People are a bit dramatic about it.
nvm figured it out edit: it’s webgl being disabled in about:preferences#librewolf - figure it out via hamburger menu > more tools > web developer tools > console, and seeing errors about WebGL pop up.
Is there a way to change this behaviour?
Might be worth bringing it up in the voyager community. That definitely shouldn’t be the case.
They do not. Are you using Sync for Lemmy? It’s broken and doesn’t hide properly
Also use the hide read posts setting
uBlock Origin should be just fine. Have you messed with the settings at all? It won’t block everything straight out the box. You may need to add some filter lists and change your blocking mode.
I also use NextDNS though alongside uBlock.
It should work fine. Filtering by one instance will show all Lemmy content. You can use a script to ensure you always land back on your instance.
You may wish to use a script to change all Lemmy links to point to your home instance https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/469273-lemmy-universal-link-switcher
https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/469273-lemmy-universal-link-switcher
Switches all lemmy links to your instance.
It’s still worth posting, a lot of people browse Lemmy only using the /all feed.
just filter by your instance, e.g google thing_youre_interested_in site:sh.itjust.works
are you guys just not aware you can filter by site?
guitar site:lemmy.world
Yes. There’s an add value
button to add additional entries.
kbin died, mbin forked away from it and is still around though.
It solves the problem of Women not being recognised for their work.
