Disclosure: I live in the US, I’m liberal, and I’m a minority on several demographics.

I’m in a Facebook group that’s supposed to be about silly dull things encountered in daily life. Someone from the UK posted that the group should ban Americans because they’re all loud and stupid. First off, why is that ok? Why is that massive prejudice ok? If someone said “we should ban Mexicans/Polish people/literally any group of citizens”, that would immediately get called out as stereotyping prejudice, but it’s ok when it’s at Americans?

But what’s really bothering me is all the weak, limp, cowardly liberals saying “yeah that’s fair we suck”. Like excuse me??? Who the fuck is “we”? “At this point I might as well just join the conservatives”. That’s literally how Nazi Germany worked. “We really are stupid” cool really awesome way to become the bitch of every other country.

I feel like I’m losing my fucking mind. Why are Democrats incapable of standing up? Why are the elected officials following protocol while the administration is LITERALLY BREAKING THE LAW? What is this weak bullshit?

And what can I do to not be like them?
